Swiss Post Box – the online mailbox

We will scan your unopened physical letter and send you an email notification with an image of the envelope (see example here). Tell us what you would like us to do with each one of your unopened envelopes.

You can choose from the following options:

  • We will open and scan the contents confidentially and under strict security measures to enable you to read your letter online.
  • We will send your unopened letter post to an address of your choice.
  • We will recycle your letter.
  • We will shred or destroy your letter (see here for the difference to recycling).
  • We will archive the contents for as long as legally required.
